Here's What to expect:
- MARCH 22, 2025 at 2:00pm at Girl UPcycled Studio with Fine Artist Marci May Shumway teaching.
- A Still life drawing one on one class
- Each table will have their own still life set up in the center for easy viewing
- Learn to use the various scales of graphite drawing pencils
- learn the differences of erasers
- short discussion on the proper paper to use
- Gain the basic knowedge of how to sketch daily on your own
- Class will run approximately 2-2.5 hrs
- $35.00 per person, pre-registration is required
- Supplies will be provied for you to use during the class.
- You are welcome to bring a refreshment to enjoy during the class.
About: Marci May Shumway
I am a wife, mother and a local artist. I run a small business from my home art studio. My brand, NovemberGirl Art was inspired by my love for nature. I love to draw and paint! I offer pieces in various artistic styles and mediums such as graphite, colored pencil, watercolors and more! Although I love nature, I also enjoy creating portraits of people and pets. I’ve been creating art for nearly 40 years. I studied at SCAD, the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. I am a graduate of Marshall University and have a Master’s Degree in Painting. I have various award winning pieces from local and state competitions during my years living in Ohio, Kentucky, WV, Virginia and Georgia. My work has been published on a national magazine, twice. I currently reside in Zanesville, Ohio. I continue to pursue my passions in art and create timely pieces for my customers. I hope you enjoy my work!
